The magnificent ruins of Persepolis which lie at the foot of Mehr Mountain was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire founded by Darius I in 518 B.C.
Necropolis is the magnificent burial place of Achaemenid kings, with seven bas-reliefs dating back to the Elamite and Sassanid periods.
Pasargadae, the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the originator of Achaemanian Emperor (550 B.C.). The wonderful architecture of his tomb, the huge fertile land over there beside the brave personality of Cyrus the Great inspire the visitors.
