This Church is the most magnificent church in Isfahan, both in terms of beautiful interior paintings and exterior design. This church was registered as a national monument of Iran on March 8, 2002 under registration number 7643.
The plan of the church is a type of rectangular domed halls, which is located in the east-west direction and double-walled dome with eight skylights at the bottom of the dome. The building has no external decoration.
The dome rests on four large columns connected to the north and south walls of the building with four arches. On the west side of the church and in front of the main entrance, there is a two-story porch on top of which is the bell tower, which was built in 1897.
The materials used in the construction of the church are clay and brick, and it has beautiful murals with themes taken from the Bible. The bottom of the walls is decorated with indigo and blue glazed tiles.
In an article published in November 2016, Daily Telegraph listed Bethlehem church as one of the 23 most beautiful churches in the world.
