Faloodeh, is a delicious and easy-to-make Iranian dessert made of rose-flavored sorbet and vermicelli.
What are the Ingredients?
- 100g of rice vermicelli
- 20cc of rose water
- 75cc of water
- 150g sugar
- juice of a lime

- barberry (zereshk)/sour cherry
- crushed pistachios
- pomegranate molasses

How to prepare Faloodeh?
Step 1: Preparing Ingredients
Crush the pistachios.
Step 2: Preparing Sorbet
Pour 75cc water and 150g sugar into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. After 5 minutes turn off the heat and add 20 ccs of rose water. Set aside to cool.
Step 3: Preparing Vermicelli
Cook the vermicelli in boiling water, following the instructions on the package.
Step 4: Mixing Ingredients
Drain the vermicelli and add to the rose sorbet. Add some lemon juice. Let it cool while stirring occasionally.
Put the mixture in an ice cream maker or in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Stir the sorbet every 30 minutes to retain consistency.
Step 5: Serve
Serve the mixture in an ice cream bowl, and garnish with crushed pistachio, barberry or sour cherry, and pomegranate molasses.
