Isfahan Music Museum is the first and only private museum for Iranian music. With the aim of introducing the original Iranian music and promoting the culture of this type, Isfahan Music Museum began its activities in December 2015.

The museum consists of two halls of national and local instruments, in which more than 300 pieces of various national and local Iranian instruments are exhibited. Visiting the halls is done together with a fluent guide in English and French while the audio-video device also explains each instrument.

The museum also has a workshop of making instruments to get acquainted with the parts of the instrument and how to make it. In another room the Iranian music performance masters and instrument making masters are introduced.

The time of a full visit varies between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the group schedule. After the visit, you can enjoy a live music performance by a museum band for 30 to 45 minutes.
