Question:
I am planning a trip to Iran next year. The only possible date for us to manage this trip is during the New Year time (Nowruz). I’ve got different conflicting advice from people. Some advise us to change our date because the attractions will be closed, while some others say all will be fine with our trip until we book early.
Any advice is gratefully received!
Allen
Answer:
Hi Allen
Visiting Iran during Nowruz has two good and bad sides. The New Year holidays are when the Iranians mostly travel or they visit their own cities. So, the sights and monuments are really crowded, and hotels and transportation tickets are fully booked.
But the positive side is that you will see happy people everywhere who are getting ready for the New Year, the weather is good, and Tehran is less crowded and polluted.
