I plan on visiting Tehran in February and I have a couple of visa questions. Since being an American and Tehran does not have diplomatic relations with Washington, how do I get my visa? I live in Germany right now, so should I be able to go to a consulate in Germany?

Iran does not have an embassy in the USA but it has an interest section office in the Pakistani embassy in Washington DC. It makes no difference to get the visa at another Iran consulate around the world. If you are in Germany, use one of Iran consulates in Germany to pick up your visa.
