First of all, due to the rules passed by the MFA, as a British passport holder, you have to take part in a guided tour. The rules say that all US, UK, and CA passport holders need to contact an Iran-based travel agent to get an Iran visa. So, as the first step let us discuss your desired itinerary, and accordingly, we will apply for your visa.

If you hold a Romanian passport you can travel to Iran individually. You just need to apply for a visa which takes 3 to 7 working days. Once approved you can collect your visa at any Iranian embassy or even at the Iranian International airport like IKA.
For your first visit to Iran, the classic route is recommended which includes Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz, Persepolis, and Necropolis.
