Question:
I need confirmed and up-to-date information about the entry requirements for Lithuanians. I would really appreciate it if you answer my two questions:
- Can Lithuanians apply for an e-visa to Iran? If not, how can I get a visa if there are no embassies in Iran in my country?
- What are the covid restrictions currently in Iran? I am a fully vaccinated citizen, but do I still need a pre-departure covid PCR test?
Thank you in advance.
Agne
Answer:
Dear Agne,
1. You can apply for e_visa but many people have problems getting visas through this site since to get a visa you need to be sponsored by a friend/relative or a travel agency in Iran. So it is highly recommended to apply for a visa via a travel agency.
The visa fee is just €15.
Once approved you can collect your visa at any Iranian embassy all over the world or you can collect it at Iran’s International Airports:
IKA:Imam Khomeini Airport
SYZ: Shiraz Airport
MHD: Mashhad Airport
TBZ: Tabriz Airport
ISF: Isfahan Airport
Please notice that Iran Visa will not be issued at land borders.
2. All people visiting Iran must hold either a negative PCR Test or a vaccination card with QR Code.
