Question:
I am from New Zealand and will visit Iran in October. I am not the person to use guides in visiting countries. Is it required to have a guide to travel to Iran, Shiraz, Kerman, and Isfahan? Can I do this on my own?
Many thanks.
Jim
Answer:
As a New Zealander (holding the passport) you don’t need to have a tour guide in Iran, so you can travel on your own. However, having a guide, at least the local guides, can add much fun to your visit as well as help you get more information about the spot.
Check the local tours of each city.
