Question:
We are going to visit Iran soon. To get ready and pack, I am trying to respect the religious rules. So, it will be appreciated if to share your ideas about which cities of Iran are more relaxed in terms of religion and people.
Answer:
The most religious cities in Iran are Qom and Mashhad in specific. But generally speaking, the smaller towns are usually more conservative with religious matters. However, they are (and the whole of Iran is) very friendly and hospitable so you will get a warm welcome almost everywhere.
