Question:
I have some Iranian Rials left from my trip to Iran. Can you please tell me where I can sell these? All the money changers I have visited do not trade in this currency.
Answer:
It would be better to change Rials to any common currency at exchange shops in Iran or at IKA which has a fair rate.
It is hard to exchange Rials outside of Iran. You can refer to the exchange shops in your home country but keep in mind that many of the exchange shops will not exchange money if it is less than a certain amount.
You can also ask Iranians in your home country for exchanging money. And as the last option, you can also sell them to other tourists planning to visit Iran. Maybe you could scout around for someone in your area who is planning a trip to Iran.
