My Iranian passport expires in a few days. Is it possible to go to Pakistan Embassy in D.C. and renew in person? I made several calls to them but could not get anyone on the phone. The online application is very hard to complete. I want to leave in 2 weeks. What happens if I cannot renew my passport? Can I enter Iran anyway? Any suggestions?

You have to go to the Iranian Interest Section in Pakistani Embassy in Washington D.C. in person for your passport renewal. But don’t worry, the airlines would allow you get on board despite the expired passport thus you can enter Iran anyway. Once you are in Iran you can apply for your new passport. It will take 7 to 10 working days and will be mailed to your address.
