Question:
I am trying to send 500$ AU to Iran to help some families. But I cannot find anyone to send with there’s this one place but the minimum is 2000$. That’s way more than what I have. What can I do? Any suggestions
Answer:
Due to the sanctions, no money transaction is available between Iran and Australia. But you can refer to the exchange shops in Australia and ask for a money transfer to Iran. The only problem is that some exchange shops do not transfer money smaller than a certain amount. It is also possible to find Iranians in Melbourne and Sydney and give them 500$ AU in hand and ask them to transfer the money to Iran through their personal account.
There is no other way. Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies are illegal in Iran.
