I am going to visit Iran with my friend but I am not sure about the timing since the best time for us coincides with Persian New Year. When is better to visit Iran, before or during Nowrouz?

Iran has great weather in Nowrouz but you should keep in mind that the sites are very crowded due to the Iranian vacations. You have to wait in long queues to buy tickets and you cannot enjoy visiting the monuments and taking photos. Read more about traveling to Iran in Nowruz.
Before Nowrouz the weather is pleasant in central Iran but it may snow in the northwest (Tabriz).
